Lemongrass Extract

Citronella, a collective name for some 55 aromatic species of plants in the grass family, Citronella, also known as lemongrass, is one of the common herbs. It is also known as lemongrass because of its lemony aroma. Cymbopogon, also known as lemongrass, barbed wire grass, silky heads, Cochin grass, Malabar grass, oily heads, citronella grass or fever grass, is a genus of Asian, African, Australian, and tropical island plants in the grass family. It is very effective in helping rheumatism, migraines, fighting infections, improving digestion, deodorising and repelling insects. Anti-infectious, astringent, tones greasy and impure skin. Gives a sense of freshness and restores balance to the body and mind (especially during the first stages of recovery from illness). It is the most versatile of the plant oils used in aromatherapy and medical treatments and can also be used indoors as a fragrance.
