Kudzu root extract is derived from the dried roots of the leguminous herb Kudzu, a perennial deciduous vine, about 10m long. The whole body has yellow-brown shag, cylindrical roots, thick, gray-yellow outer skin, and silty inner.

Kudzu root extract is mainly containing flavonoids and puerarin. Prolonged or overdose of Pueraria can cause symptoms of spontaneous sweating.

Pueraria is a cold herbal medicine. People with constitutional cold and cold stomach should not take it on an empty stomach or in large quantities to avoid discomfort, aggravate the symptoms of stomach cold and constitutional cold, and even cause symptoms of diarrhea. Kudzu root contains ingredients to lower blood pressure and blood sugar, so it is not suitable for patients with hypotension and hypoglycemia, so as not to aggravate the symptoms of hypotension and hypoglycemia.
